EDA’s Humanitarian Response in South Wollo
EDA continues to deliver life-saving humanitarian response through its integrated multisectoral project supported by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, focusing on CCCM, Health, Nutrition, ES/NFI, and WASH services.
In South Wollo Zone (Jari 1 & Mekaneyesus IDP sites), critical health and nutrition services are actively saving lives every day.
Nutritional screening for children under five and pregnant and lactating women is ongoing, enabling early identification of MAM and SAM cases and ensuring timely referral and treatment. Primary health care consultations continue to reach vulnerable families, restoring dignity and hope in crisis-affected communities.
