Respect for human rights and the protection of every individual’s dignity are central to EDA’s mission and values. EDA works to create safer communities by addressing the root causes and consequences of rights violations, exploitation, and conflict. This includes raising awareness about the dangers of unsafe migration and human trafficking, providing comprehensive child protection services, and building safeguarding systems to prevent online sexual exploitation and abuse. EDA also fosters peaceful coexistence through community dialogue and conflict mediation, strengthens legal awareness and access to justice, and offers psychosocial support and reintegration pathways for survivors and at-risk groups helping communities heal, rebuild trust, and move toward lasting peace.
