EDA’s economic empowerment programs equip youth, women, and vulnerable groups with the skills, resources, and support they need to achieve sustainable livelihoods. Through entrepreneurship development and vocational training, participants gain practical, market-relevant competencies. Access to start-up capital and revolving funds enables them to translate these skills into viable businesses. EDA further strengthens outcomes through on-the-job technical support, mentorship, and coaching, while also creating pathways to wage employment through job placement services. Both group and individual income-generating activities are supported, ensuring that economic opportunity reaches the most marginalized members of society.
