With the generous support of the Luminus Fund, Emmanuel Development Association (EDA) continues implementing the Second Chance Education Program (SCEP) in Akaki Kality and Lemi Kura in collaboration with local stakeholders and communities. 

As part of the program’s activity-based learning approach, students visited a nearby health center to connect classroom lessons on HIV and AIDS with practical experience. Health professionals provided awareness on prevention, testing, counseling, healthy lifestyles, and stigma reduction.
In addition, students also visited local vegetable & garment markets as part of practical learning activities to strengthen their understanding of nutrition, healthy food choices, communication skills, and everyday market interactions. 

The visit created an engaging learning experience, helping students strengthen their understanding, confidence, and life skills through direct interaction and observation.
