The Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (M&E) Unit of Emmanuel Development Association (EDA) successfully conducted a Post-Training Follow-Up Assessment from July 5–8, 2026 across Mekelle, Abi Adi, Adwa, and Axum in the Tigray Region.

The assessment evaluated how participants are applying the knowledge and skills gained through training in Primary School Cluster Supervision, Trauma-Sensitive and Gender-Responsive Pedagogy, Classroom Management, Digital Technology Utilization, EGRA & EGMA, Structured Pedagogy, Activity-Based and Joyful Learning, and MHPSS & GBV support. Through classroom observations, document reviews, key informant interviews, and focus group discussions, the team gathered valuable evidence on training effectiveness and identified opportunities for continuous improvement.
The visit demonstrated encouraging progress in the adoption of learner-centered, inclusive, and child-friendly teaching practices, reaffirming the importance of post-training support in enhancing education quality and learning outcomes.

This initiative was implemented by Emmanuel Development Association (EDA) with the generous support of Woord en Daad, in collaboration with education stakeholders, to strengthen resilient and inclusive education systems in Ethiopia.
